The Marshman Murals - refurbished. The society has largely financed the restoration of the Marshman murals in the Convent Courtyard which were damaged by damp and needed urgent attention. Click on each image for a larger version. |

One of the murals is of the successful Anglo-Portugese Siege of Badajoz in the Peninsular War, the other of the Great Siege of Gibraltar.
A party from the Friends inspected the work last June - see Rock Talk, July 2009 edition, page 7.
